"True beauty will radiate regardless. It’s not your duty to remove the blinders of those who choose not to see you.” - Alex Elle

True beauty endures. However, in a world full of those that acknowledge our beauty, we narrow in on the few that do not see us. We place importance in removing the preconceptions of the few because their doubt and dislike distresses us. Thus, we compromise who we are and our light to feel accepted. We fail to acknowledge that our obsession with everyone loving us only distances us further from ourselves. Their reluctance reveals our self-doubt. Knowing that we are not diminished by others’ blinders is what transforms our irritation into compassion. It is what brings us back to ourselves.

Do you find yourself upset when someone does not like you? Holding firm to the exposition of your light in spite of others will change everything.
